PROJECT "MANAGEMENT OF SUPPORT OF INNOVATIONS IN THE SOUTH BOHEMIAN REGION"

 

The project MANAGEMENT OF SUPPORT OF INNOVATIONS IN THE SOUTH BOHEMIAN REGION is carried out within the Action Plan of the Programme of support of the region development for year 2003. The main target of the project as a whole is creation of functioning environment for development of innovations and use of progressive technologies in the South Bohemian Region.

In particular, this relates to development of partnership between all participants in the region and setting of a basic medium-term strategy in the support of innovation business. The project shall bring gradual commercialisation of scientific-technical development, technological transfer from abroad, increase of competitive advantage of the existing companies in the region by using progressive technologies and strengthening local capacities in the area of implementation of the innovation projects.

 

The project Management of support of innovations in the South Bohemian region includes also the sub-project Technological profile of the South Bohemian region. Processing of the technological profile is carried out in form of a database of innovation and scientific research companies and institutions in the region, which can be found on these pages.

 

WHAT DOES THIS SYSTEM OFFER:

 

Through the information system the innovation companies can:
-          advertise their business activities free of charge
-          find a partner for co-operation
-          ask for new trends in business, new technologies, products and services
-          predicate the medium-term development of the business in the region
-          co-operate with the scientific-research and development institutes
-          picture the priority departments in the region
-          find new business options, new production programme

 

This information system develops a sort of a member platform of technological profile of the South Bohemian region, which is the basement for:
-          looking for co-operation from abroad
-          use of grants announced by the Ministries of the Czech Republic
-          access to withdrawing financial means within structural funds of the European Union

-          communication and support of the region development

-          setting a medium-size conception of the support of innovation companies
